I did. Sad fact, but I photocopied the cheque before I banked it. Not often you get a cheque from a legend.
Not overly fond of sarsegges, though.
I still have a scan of my first pay cheque from the Eye.
Seems to be something of a tradition. I've got a colour photocopy of the cheque I got from the BBC for writing the Top 40 of 1998 show for them.
