Did anyone get a reproduction Stylophone for Christmas this year or for Christmas 2007? Are you wondering why it didn't come with the 7" demonstration record, narrated by Rolf Harris? The Knosti Disco Antistat looks disturbingly similar to a Ronco thingymajig we had in the 1980s which unfailingly scratched the first track of one side of any LP we put into it. I hope yours is of considerably better quallidy.
(Before you ask, my Dad tried to take it apart to find out what was causing the problem, but the unit was heat-sealed and couldn't be modified in any way without breaking it. Which also means that, following heavy use, the pads inside would have become filthy and yet unreplaceable. Not that ours underwent heavy use. Nice one, Ronco.)
